Campaign Ambassador: Don Gallagher

Don Gallagher has been managing hearing loss for over a decade, yet he has never had a pair of hearing aids of his own. For years, he has relied on donated devices and done his best to stay connected with the world around him despite the limitations.

In recent months, both of his hearing aids have stopped working properly, making it harder for him to follow conversations with family and friends, especially in group settings. His situation is further complicated by dexterity challenges and a disability that make it difficult to insert and handle standard hearing aids. This has led to repeated breakages and ongoing struggles with reliability.

Thanks to the Campaign for Better Hearing Give-back Program, Don has received new hearing aids that better suit his needs and help him stay engaged with the people and activities he loves.
