Dorothy is a proud grandmother and pensioner who began struggling with hearing loss in 2022. The hardest part has been missing out on conversations with her grandchildren. She tried low-cost amplifiers she found online, but without professional fitting, they didn’t work.

Dorothy shared how heartbreaking it is when her grandkids ask why she can’t hear them. Over time, she started pulling back from family outings like dinners at restaurants because it became too difficult to keep up.

Thanks to the Campaign for Better Hearing Give-back Program, Dorothy is reconnecting with her loved ones and enjoying those special family moments again.
